The Indo-Pacific Foundation of Canada was honored to participate in the Surrey Fiesta Extravaganza 2024, held on June 29-30, 2024, at the Surrey Civic Plaza. This vibrant event, themed as a “Festival of Smiles”, was a celebration of Filipino heritage, showcasing the richness of its culture through music, dance, food, and community spirit.
As part of our commitment to fostering unity and collaboration among the diverse Indo-Pacific communities in Canada, our participation highlighted our foundation’s core values of inclusivity and cultural celebration. We strongly believe that the diversity of Indo-Pacific cultures is the foundation of a thriving and interconnected community. Events like these allow us to bring these values to life, strengthening the bonds that make our multicultural society so unique.
The festival was a fantastic opportunity for attendees to experience the beauty of Filipino traditions while connecting with others from across the Indo-Pacific region.
